Long time Tampa Bay resident epitomizes the American dream. He migrated to the US in 1996 from a humble village in Gujarat, India. He started his journey as an employee then in 2002, he purchased a single gas station in Saint Petersburg, Florida. After fine-tuning a system for improving inside sales and profitability, he started adding more stations to his portfolio and later in 2008, he spotted a golden opportunity to buy a chain of 22 gas stations/convenience stores in Ocala, Florida where he re-branded the stations into Quick King. He replicated this formula and eventually ended up owning over 100 retail stores with real estate across the nation. To integrate the business lines, he started his own fuel distribution company to supply gas to all his retail stores and others. His diversified portfolio of investments includes restaurant chains such as Subway and Dunkin Donuts, health companies, insurance, and the banking sector.
